Won't Feel a Thing (St Cross Book 1) by C.F. White

Having read this I'm really looking forward to what promises to be a fantastic new series.

This book made me go through a range of emotions, sadness, hate, anger and relief to name a few!!

In this first book we meet Ollie, newly qualified nurse with a job at a hospital he could only dream of. Thing is, the job came with a price...

At first he didn't mind his secret relationship with the top surgeon, after all he was hot and seemed to be totally smitten with Ollie. Once he had started his new position and the doctor had helped him with a family issue, the relationship became more of a business deal with him having to be at the doctors beck and call.

This was the part where I began to loath the doctor and feel that Ollie was being pressured.

When we meet Jacob however, the book takes another turn. Father to one of his patients, Ollie knows he shouldn't start anything but their feelings seem to form hard and fast.

Add in his own family issues and it makes for a brilliant read.

The twists and turns in this book kept me captivated till the last word.
