The Radical Rock Stars series by Jenna Galicki
I'm not really sure where to begin with this series.
I have read it many, many times and I love it more each time.
It contains my favourite moment in any book, the kind of moment where you can see what's coming and you break out in a hot sweat, praying that it doesn't happen.
In book 1 we meet Tommy and Jessi Blade.
Literally the perfect couple, Jessi will do anything for her man, even let him indulge in his bisexual tendencies as long as she can watch.
Tommy, in return loves Jessi so much he can't see his life without her in it.
When Tommy auditions for a new band, their world as they know it is about to end.
Angel Garcia, lead singer of the band wants Tommy for himself.....
Whereas with his other dalliances Jessi has sometimes taken part, Angel wants none of it, he is only interested in Tommy.
Could this be the thing that changes everything for the couple.
In book 2 we see the developing relationship between the three.
Angel is sex on legs and Jessi wants him to be part of her life as well, but Angel doesn't want her in that way.
The turmoil that this causes reaches new heights and Jessi finds herself having to fight for the attention of her husband.
When the men go on tour she is left feeling like the outsider in her marriage.
Book 3 is where we meet bassist Damien Diamond and his Alyssa, the woman that gave him a reason to leave the pain of his youth behind.
Angel saved him from the streets but it's Alyssa that makes him want to survive.
In book 4 it's the story of Jimmy, the slut of the band who sleeps with any girl that looks his way.
When he falls for one of the bands biggest fans however, things get interesting.
She also happens to be the daughter of his boss.
Facing being dropped from the label if the relationship continues, they have both overcome obstacles to be together and Daddy isn't going to break them up.
The last book is where we see the band finally settle down.
The relationship between Tommy, Jessi and Angel has finally found a way where they are all satisfied with how it works.
When they decide that children will complete them as a family, their happy ending seems like a possibility but as we all know, life never gives us the ending we want.....
Something is always there lurking to throw a spanner in the works.
This series is always my go to read when i want something familiar, I always recommend it to anyone new to the genre and tell as many people as I can about it.
Just a warning though, beware of videotapes, they may just contain footage that can cause serious problems......
5 out of 5 stars.
