Manic Pixie Dream Boy by K.A. Merikan

I haven't long come across this author but what I have read so far has been inspired and absolutely amazing.

In this book we meet Dusk. lead singer of The Underdogs...

He will sleep with pretty much anything on his way to stardom, his band means the world to him and he wants them to reach the top.

Abe is backpacking his way to freedom. He is out, proud and beautiful.

When the two men meet at a gas station, a quick encounter in the rest room is all it takes to convince Dusk that this is the man he has been waiting for. Nicknaming him 'Lolly' on account of the sweet treat he is sucking on, he offers him a ride on the tour bus so that he can keep him for just a bit longer.

When things start to progress, a fake relationship is formed to help the band's reputation. Trouble is, if it's fake, why are they both having real feelings...

This book is fast paced and will keep you hooked right up until the last word. It had me wanting the happy ending and I was on the edge of my seat as I watched it all play out, and I do mean watched as the author brings the characters to life so well it's almost like you are there with them.
