Flying Solo by Susan Mac Nicol
Here we are again with one of my favourite series of books.
This time it's the story of Maxwell Lewis, flight attendant extraordinaire......
He had lived a hard life so far, living on the streets, doing what he had to to survive, losing his first boyfriend and best friend to drugs, it hadn't always been easy.
He had been given a chance at a new life and he grabbed it with both hands.
Gibson Henry was a computer whizz.
Along with his partner, they were creating a game that he hoped would elevate his career to the next level.
When he finds himself on Max's flight, they both see something they like....
Then next time they are both on the same flight, things get a little down and dirty in one of the toilets with a very hot blowjob but as soon as it's over, Gibson leaves and Max is left feeling used.
A chance meeting at a nightclub sees Max stepping in and rescuing Gibson from some unwanted attention and from then on the 2 men are constantly on each others minds.
The trouble is, Max has decided it's time to settle down, the field he has been playing is getting tiresome. Gibson doesn't seem to be the settling down type though, can Max just have some fun or will his heart be crushed.
The to and fro relationship the men form is quite funny, neither of them wanting to admit their feelings but at the same time not wanting to let go.
Bits of Max's past come out and Gibson gets to see exactly what he might be letting himself in for, question is, will he be able to cope with the other side of Max and will Max want him to?
Yet again I loved every word of the story.
The right amount of angst and passion and definitely the right amount of hot sex.
Can they top Leslie and Oliver as my favourites, I don't think so but then again there isn't many who could top Leslie!!!!!
Another winner for me.....
5 out of 5 stars.
