Finn by Morgan Campbell

When I read the first book, I honestly didn't think it could get any better but this one floored me.

It made me feel so many different things...fear, sorrow, love, total despair, longing and made my mothering instinct kick in massively.

I have seen children on the recieving end of bullying but this book shows that sometimes there is a reason behind it. It will never excuse the pain they put the victim through but some of them are victims themselves.

Finn is one those children.

Being beaten on a daily basis for daring to love a boy, he tried to hide his feelings, put on a front at school for the other kids, feared being outed and made and outcast.

When the boy he loved unwittingly put him on the radar, there was only ever going to be one outcome for them both....pain!!

Gray was the most important part of his life and he never knew. The day he showed his art to the school, a portrait of Finn, was the day his world was about to change.

He became a target and was ultimately ruined.

Years later, who knew what would happen when the two men crossed paths.

Would they both finally be able to forgive the ones that ruined their childhoods.

A powerful, thought provoking book and I can't wait for the next one.
