Boss by Ashley John
When Joshua Silverton returns home from his travels for a family wedding, the last thing he wants to do is see his Dad.
He has been living off of Daddys money for years and is running out and he really doesn't want to have to beg for more.
When he is informed by his cousin that his Dad died a year before he feels no grief, just elation at the realisation that the company and all the money will be his.
That happiness is short lived when his lawyer informs him that a mysterious man was left everything and he has no right to a penny.
He knew his Dad didn't agree with the way he lived his life but he didn't think he would cut him out completely.
Deciding to drink away his sorrows he spends the night in a bar where he catches the eye of a seemingly popular man, judging by the amount of young men trying to get his attention.
When they get talking Joshua finds himself attracted for some reason and they end up in a hotel together, nothing much happens as they are both drunk and tired but the kiss they share is pretty explosive.
When he heads home the next day he is encouraged by his cousin and friend to go to the company and find out who exactly has stolen his life.
What he didn't count on was coming face to face with Ezra Steele, his kissing partner.
The push and pull that comes next between the two men is fuelled by the fact that they both want each other yet they both have a massive amount to lose by giving in. Joshua could lose all his money and Ezra could have all his darkest secrets exposed. Things he has kept hidden from everyone.....
However when Ezra is attacked and Joshua witnesses it, the secrets are threatening to be revealed anyway.
With people in the company trying to undermine them both, will they be torn apart or can what they feel for one another bring them closer together.
A good read that will keep you hooked till the very end.
I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.
