Alpha's Sacrifice: an MMMM Mpreg Gay Romance by Nora Phoenix

For once I may be lost for words!!

I've read mmmm, I've read mpreg, I have never come across a book like this before though....

I absolutely love this author and always buy her books, this one however wasn't something I considered reading as it's not usually my thing. I'm so glad I did.

In another time and place we have Alphas, Omegas and Betas. They no longer shift but still have the same sexual ways. They live with very strict rules on the way their society sees things, who should mate with who and in what way each is allowed to have sex.

The Omegas come in to heat and need to be bred, it's a matter of survival.

In the first book in this new series we meet Vieno. Resisting giving himself to an Alpha is proving to be detrimental to his health but he loves his best friend Palani, a Beta. Sadly Palani can't give him what he needs and the pain of seeing his love being bred by another is too much for either man.

Next we get to meet Enar, an Alpha doctor who tries his best to help the Omegas. Called in to save Vieno's life, he asks for the help of an Alpha friend, Lidon.

The four men come together in a way that kept me gripped, I couldn't put the book down. The way they all bonded, the danger they found themselves in and the dynamic was just perfect.

Please note it does end on a cliff hanger and although that can sometimes be annoying, I know it's going to be worth the wait.

I would put this up there as one of my favourite books of the year so far.
